Overview:

This visa allows the spouse of an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or New Zealand citizen to travel to and live in Australia.

 

Requirements:

 

• The applicant must be married to, or in a de facto relationship for at least 12 months with, an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or New Zealand citizen.
• The applicant must apply from outside Australia.

 

Validity:

 

• Valid until a decision is made on your permanent visa.
• Or until you are granted a new visa.
• Or if this visa is canceled.
